Work Experience

Around Kansas, AG AM Television- Topeka, Kansas (Present)

I am the co-host and a content creator for Around Kansas, a weekly television show that airs across Kansas on local stations. I research and create television segments that cover a vast array of historical topics related to Kansas history and culture. 

Founder, Discovering History LLC- Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico (2005-2015)

In 2005 I founded Discovering History LLC to expand my work as a public historian, a living history interpreter, public speaker, freelance writer, contract researcher, and consultant to the museum, national park, historic site, television, and film sectors. Work that I have consulted and been a part of has aired nationally on History Channel, PBS, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and Investigation Discovery.
